1. Controller
Pivot Transfer by Raphael, Zürich, Switzerland, is the controller for the processing of your personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact: legal@pivotransition.ch.
2. Data we process
We process the email address you provide at checkout, payment and transaction metadata (via Stripe), your consent choices, and technical data such as IP address, device/browser information and server logs.
3. Purposes & legal basis
We process data to perform the purchase contract (deliver the document and receipt), to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, to secure and operate the website (legitimate interest), and — only with your consent — for optional analytics.
4. Payment processing
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. Stripe acts as an independent controller/processor under its own privacy terms.
5. Cookies & consent
Strictly necessary cookies and local storage needed to operate the site and complete your purchase are used without consent. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are set only after you opt in via our consent banner; you can change your choice anytime via ‘Cookie settings’.
6. Data retention
Retention periods: (a) payment and transaction records — 10 years (Swiss Code of Obligations Art. 958f and applicable tax law); (b) your email and order/licence details — for the business relationship plus the statutory retention period; (c) consent records — up to 12 months after withdrawal or expiry, as proof of compliance; (d) server and security logs — up to 90 days; (e) data no longer required is deleted or anonymised.
7. Disclosure & international transfers
We share data only with processors needed to run our business (payment, hosting, email). Where data is transferred outside Switzerland/the EEA, we ensure adequate protection via adequacy decisions or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses together with the Swiss addendum.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent at any time with future effect.
